About
I'm Đorđe, a senior software engineer in Belgrade. I've been building web applications, interactive media and developer tooling for over twenty years.
I'm mostly a frontend engineer, and I like owning a product from start to finish. I've spent a lot of time working with firmware, mobile, backend and design teams on architecture, data modeling and product decisions. I also enjoy mentoring junior developers.
I started out in the Flash years: websites, banners, advergames, CD-ROMs and kiosk apps. When the industry moved on, I moved to JavaScript with it. Since then I've built casino games, worked on a cloud genomics platform and, most recently, spent five years at ProGlove. There I was the engineering owner of Config Tool, the app used to configure their barcode scanners, and led its full rewrite.
These days I work on my own products and open source. That means small, focused tools like sub2utf and Camera Video Converter, plus agent tooling such as open-claude-agent-sdk.

Owned Config Tool, the business-critical application for configuring ProGlove barcode scanners and connectivity devices. Led a full rewrite in Angular and Protocol Buffers.
- Engineering owner of Config Tool: architecture, technical direction and releases
- Worked with the product owner and other teams to make Config Tool the best product it could be
- Complete application rewrite, improving maintainability and performance
- Worked closely with the firmware, Android, iOS and gateway (Raspberry Pi Zero) teams on device integration

Started as an ActionScript developer and moved to JavaScript as the industry left Flash behind.
- Built Flash casino games and led their migration to HTML5/JavaScript
